Consider this scenario.
Exhibit A. Merc is signalling to turn left:
Exhibit B. Sign says 7am-7pm, Mon-Fri.
Anyone want to guess the end result?
No, the guy was not pulled over. I have no idea why.

And being Canadian, everyone sat patiently from 8 AM to 7:01 PM.

I think there’s a Toronto bylaw that exempts all Mercedes and BMWs from following traffic laws.

Isn’t that a cop sitting right behind him too?

Lost me. Am I blind or overthinking it?

Merc was signalling and then actually turning left on a street with a no left turn sign. With a cop behind him who did nothing after the fact.

Maybe Ontario, I don’t know. I remember once seeing an Alpina doing like 180 in front of an OPP, again. no sirens or anything.

Isn’t a C for plebes? Surprising. Then again, maybe not. No doubt a clapped out 1992 Corolla would be treated the same.

Awfully close to the venerable Financial District, you never know if that Merc belongs to the son of VP of Marketing Direction in one of them powerful banks that runs this city.

Maybe he’s a sovereign citizen, and road signs don’t apply to him. :P

‘Doh
I totally missed what you wrote, just looked at the pictures.
It’s weird that the cop would do nothing, usually they’re anal about easy money like that. And that looks like a one-way (can’t place exactly where it is to make sure, sorry) so it wouldn’t even be being anal.

Bay and Adelaide. Merc was coming southbound on Bay.
